Vostokov, Evgenij Ivanovich
1913 - 1989
Pittore nato a Mosca nel 1913 e deceduto a San Pietroburgo nel 1989; artista al merito delle Repubbliche Socialiste Sovietiche; ottenne la sua formazione artistica inizialmente presso la scuola media di Leningrado - attuale San Pietroburgo - (1925-1930), ed in seguito presso l'Accademia delle Belle Arti e dell'Università di Leningrado che terminò nel 1933.
Nel 1978 iniziò a prendere parte a mostre-mercato in tutto il mondo ed in particolare in Giappone, negli Stati Uniti, in Canada, in Polonia, in Svizzera, in Belgio, in Italia, in Francia ed in Inghilterra, oltre ad altri paesi di minore importanza artistico commerciale; Oggi le quotazioni di questo artista russo, che espone i suoi quadri in molti musei dell'ex Unione Sovietica, sono decisamente alte e sempre in forte crescita grazie anche alle continue richieste dei vari collezionisti che partecipano alle aste che si svolgono in Inghilterra e negli Stati Uniti.
Wostokow Ewgenij has always been an artist of the Soviet State: Major General, professor of culture and art at the Academy Military Policy "WILenin", historian and teacher, guide museums and renowned author of many publications on political-military in ' Soviet representative art; already in the '30egli began to take part, as a painter, in several exhibitions within the Soviet Union and up to that time was noted for its predisposition toward landscape painting which has remained true to this day; throughout his life he was a follower and a master faithful to the traditional Russian realistic art, conveying his emotions and forming other extraordinary masters of landscape paintings, such as Wasiljew, Levitan, K.Korowin, Ostrouchow; its landscapes are, as regards the composition and coloratura, placed so wonderful in the highest Soviet Art; worked well, and with great success, with the permission of the Ministry of Culture of the Soviet Union, in the field of still lifes.
In 1978 he began to take part in market-exhibitions all over the world, especially in Japan, the United States, Canada, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, France and England, as well as other countries minor commercial art; Today the prices of this Russian artist, who exhibited his paintings in many museums of the former Soviet Union, are always very high and growing rapidly thanks to the continuous demands of various collectors who participate in auctions that take place in England and the United States States.
