Kostin, Michail Alekseevich, pittore russo nato nel 1918 a Rostow sul Don e deceduto a Mosca nel 1972; iniziò i suoi studi presso la Scuola di Cultura e d'Arte in Rostov sul Don nel 1933 proseguendo i suoi studi fino al 1939, anno nel quale si iscrisse all'Istituto di Stato di Mosca" V. I. Surikov" laureandosi maestro di pittura, scultura e architettura nel 1945; in seguito continuò la sua preparazione artistica con i professori Schegal Grigori Mikailovich (1889-1956) e Gerassimov Sergei Vasilevich (1885-1964). Per oltre 40 anni ha insegnato pittura nella scuola d'arte di Vladivostok e dal 1941 ha iniziato a partecipare alle più importanti mostre di pittura sia sul territorio delle Repubbliche Sovietiche che all'estero. Dopo la sua morte, dal 1973, è presente permanentemente sia in alcune gallerie di stato di Mosca che in diversi musei dell'ex URSS; le opere di questo grandissimo artista sono presenti in numerose gallerie private in Inghilterra, in Germania, negli Stati Uniti ed oggi anche in Italia.

Kostin, Mikhail Alekseevich, Russian painter born in 1918 in Rostow on Don and died in Moscow in 1972; began his studies at the School of Culture and Art in Rostov-on-Don in 1933 continuing his studies until 1939, the year in which he joined the Institute of Moscow State "VI Surikov" graduating master of painting, sculpture and architecture in 1945; later continued his artistic training with professors Schegal Grigori Mikailovich (1889-1956) and Sergei Gerassimov Vasilevich (1885-1964). For over 40 years he has taught painting in art school in Vladivostok and from 1941 began to participate in the most important exhibitions of paintings both on the territory of Soviet Republics and abroad. After his death, in 1973, it is permanently present in some galleries of Moscow State in various museums of the former USSR; the works of this great artist are in numerous private galleries in England, in Germany, the United States and now also in Italy.
The prices of this painter are significant rise although in Italy you can find some paintings at very affordable prices.
