Ovcharov, Andrej Vladimirovich
1926 - 2005
Artista nato nel 1926 nel villaggio Djulkovo regione di Mosca e deceduto nel 1994 a Mosca; nel 1939 a soli 13 anni entrò nella nella scuola d'arte che era organizzata dal comitato del Ministero del Consiglio dell'URSS; a causa della guerra finì i suoi studi soltanto nel 1950 ma non smise mai di partecipare a mostre di pittura sia collettive che personali su tutto il territorio sovietico.
Nel 1953 venne accolto nell'associazione degli artisti sovietici quale membro principale e così ebbe l'autorizzazione di effettuare anche mostre all'estero per far conoscere a tutti la grande arte del Regime Sovietico.
Nel 1976 e 1977 fece due mostre personali molto importanti a Mosca dalle quali ottenne un successo strepitoso. Finito il Regime, nel 1993 la Russell Baker Gallery acquistò numerosi dipinti di questo artista e nel 1996, Ovcharov, fece una grande mostra a Torino presso la galleria Pirra.
I lavori di questo importante pittore russo si trovano oggi anche in Giappone, negli Stati Uniti e in diversi paesi europei tra i quali l'Italia e la Francia.
Artist born in 1926 in the village Djulkovo Moscow region and died in 1994 in Moscow; in 1939 at age 13 he entered the school of art that was organized by the Committee of the Ministry of the Council of the USSR; because of the war he finished his studies only in 1950 but never stopped attending art exhibitions both collective and personal throughout the Soviet territory.
In 1953 he was accepted as a member in the association of Soviet artists principal and so had the authorization to conduct exhibitions abroad to make known to all the great art of the Soviet Regime.
In 1976 and 1977 he made two very important exhibitions in Moscow from which he obtained a resounding success. After the regime, in 1993, the Russell Baker Gallery bought several paintings by this artist, and in 1996, Ovcharov, made a major exhibition at the gallery in Turin Pyrrha.
The work of this important Russian painter are nowin Japan, the United States and in several European countries including Italy and France.
