Gudskov, Lev Vasilevich Professore Ordinario di Disegno e Pittura all'Istituto d'Arte di Stato " Surikov " di Mosca nacque nella città di Mosca nel 1922 e morì sempre a Mosca nel 1997.
Dal 1940 al 1947 prestò servizio militare nell'Armata Rossa e venne considerato un veterano della seconda guerra mondiale; dal 1947 al 1952 è stato studente all'Istituto d'Arte di Stato di Mosca " Surikov ": nel 1952 si laureatò in quell'Istituto a pieni voti con una pittura magnifica che oggi è esposta presso il museo dell'Accademia d'arte di San Pietroburgo.
Dal 1952 al 1997 lo troviamo assistente prima e poi ordinario di cattedra presso l'Istituto di architettura di Mosca; negli ultimi venti anni ha insegnato presso questo Istituto dove da giovane aveva effettuato tutti i suoi studi artistici; Gudskov fu anche autore di numerosi libri di testo per studenti di disegno ed anatomia plastica.
Nel 1952 iniziò ad effettuare mostre permanenti, personali e collettive sia in russia che all'estero dove ottenne un grandissimo successo, e questo, fino all' anno della sua morte.
Le sue pitture sono in diversi musei di Mosca (museo della rivoluzione, il museo di storia ed altri); molte delle sue pitture e disegni sono acquistati dagli stessi russi e molti suoi lavori si trovano in Germania, Gran Bretagna, Italia e Belgio.

From 1940 to 1947 he served in the Red Army and was considered a veteran of World War II; 1947-1952 was a student at the Art Institute of Moscow State "Surikov": in 1952 he graduated with honors in that Institute with a magnificent painting is now on display at the Museum of the Academy of Art St. Petersburg.
From 1952 to 1997 we find him first and then assistant professor of the chair at the Institute of Architecture in Moscow; in the last twenty years he has taught at the institute where a young man had made all his art studies; Gudskov was also the author of several textbooks for students of drawing and anatomy plastic.
In 1952 he began to make permanent exhibitions, personal and group exhibitions both in russia and abroad, where he obtained a great success, and this, until the 'year of his death.
His paintings are in several museums of Moscow (Museum of the Revolution, the history museum and others); many of his paintings and drawings are purchased by the Russians themselves, and many of his works are in Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Belgium.
